ESTIMATES & PAYMENT

WHAT DOES IT ALL COST ME?

This will vary depending on the package of design work required. All estimates are detailed under the relevant packages but please be aware, they are estimates and sometimes you may incur additional costs depending on your requirements.

If we reach the limitations of your chosen package, I will communicate this so you don’t run into any unexpected costs. All additional work on top will be charged at my hourly rate of £35.00 per hour.

MY DEADLINE IS VERY TIGHT, CAN YOU HELP?

Always happy to accommodate tight deadlines. It’s Occupational hazard in this industry. Get in touch with me and I’ll see what I can do.

WHEN MUST I PAY BY?

All invoices must be paid within 30 days of the invoice being sent out. 

CAN I MAKE TWEAKS AFTER THE JOB HAS BEEN SIGNED OFF?

Absolutely, but any changes will be charged at my hourly rate of £35.00. If a job has been printed before you flag these tweaks though, There will be no turning back.

DO I NEED TO SEND YOU A BRIEF?

I love a thorough brief so if you can make this available before we commence, then great. However, don’t panic if not. That’s what the design consultation when we start the process is for. I’ll help you develop a brief for me if required.

WHAT FORMAT WILL I RECEIVE MY FINAL LOGOS IN?

I will send you a package via email, or Wetransfer depending on the size and what you prefer. The files you receive will be; 

EPS (Vector) | PDF | JPEG for print | PNG (transparent background)

DO I NEED A COMPLETE REDESIGN?

We’ll discuss your requirements before I begin any work, in my design consultation. I have a range of different branding packages that will set us on a path to create your branding exactly how you need. 

WHAT DO YOU USE TO CREATE MY LOGO?

All logos are designed in illustrator and InDesign

WHAT HAPPENS IF I DON’T LIKE ANY OF THE DESIGNS?

If we’ve got it right in the beginning and you have created a thorough brief for me, This shouldn’t be a problem. The rounds ensure we get to a point where the designs are really working for you. Either way,  I will work tirelessly to create you designs that you’ll love. 

DO I NEED A COMPLETE REDESIGN?

Three rounds of design are included in the overall process

Round one: This is where I really experiment with different ideas and directions based on our initial chat and your requirements. You’ll receive ideas created strictly within your brief and maybe a wild card for get you thinking.

Round Two: After receiving your feedback on round one. I’ll the begin the refinement process and start whittling down your favourites. I can switch fonts/images and colours around and mix things up for you to see. You will then receive much more polished ideas in your inbox.

Round Three: You will then pick your final favourite design for me to go away and finalise. There will still be time to make any minor tweaks at this stage.

ARE FONTS INCLUDED IN THE PRICE?

Fonts are not included in the cost unless I am using a free or a font I already own the licence to. Google fonts are a great option if you’re on a tight budget and are readily available.

WILL I OWN MY LOGO?

Yes of course. Once paid for, the Logo designs will be owned by you. All I ask is that you allow me to use the logos to display on my portfolio pages and socials to show them off. It will be a free bit of awesome advertising for your business.

ARE STOCK IMAGES, FONTS, AND VECTOR STOCK INCLUDED WITHIN YOUR FEES?

No, these will incur extra fees on top of the final price of your project

CAN YOU DESIGN IT IN WORD SO I CAN EDIT IT MYSELF?

Everything is created in InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. Office 365 has design limitations but in some cases I can provide a word or Powerpoint doc depending on the project requirements.

CAN I USE MY OFFICE OR HOME PRINTER?

In some cases, yes, why not. This will be fine for some of the work I do. However, I will advise what will and won’t work. Getting things professionally printed is always the best way to go to get the best results. I’ll have more control over the finished product if we go down the professional route.

DO YOU PRINT THE THINGS YOURSELF?

Everything is printed at a range of professional printers I have known for years and have built up strong relationships with. I have a range of options due to their varying specialities.  Also, more than happy for you to liaise and organise your own printing If you have the contacts but I will ask that you copy me in to any correspondence with them so I can keep up to date with the process

CAN I SEE A PRINTED EXAMPLE BEFORE I APPROVE THE FINAL ITEM?

In some cases yes. It depends on the printer and the job. Some printers will supply printed mock-ups but they can be expensive.

I’VE NOTICED A MISTAKE, WHAT DO I DO?

Factoring in 3 rounds of amends into my costs helps to limit these problems. If we catch the mistakes in time before we push the button on the printing, then great, of course. But If the item has already gone to press I’m afraid, you may have to consider a reprint at an additional cost. All proof checking is yours (the client’s) responsibility.
